3 day trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam

Get ready for an enchanting 3-day journey to uncover Luxor's timeless treasures from Marsa Alam. Discover the immense Karnak and Luxor Temples, venture into the mystical Valley of Kings, admire the splendid Hatshepsut Temple, and gaze upon the remnants of the Colossi of Memnon. On the third day, delve deeper into history visiting Medinet Habu Temple, Ramesseum, and Deir el-Medina, followed by scrumptious lunches daily.

Day 1:
Commence your adventure early morning with a private A/C car transfer from Marsa Alam to Luxor. Be greeted by your dedicated Egyptologist guide and head straight to the captivating Karnak Temple complex, the epitome of human triumph and a testimony to numerous generations of creative minds and ambitious rulers. Next, move on to the mesmerizing Luxor Temple, a significant venue for the annual Opet Festival aimed at reconciling the human aspects of rule with divinity.

Evening Option:
Experience the Karnak Sound and Light Show, narrating the storied history of Thebes along with the glories achieved by inspiring pharaohs. Listen to a moving account of the artistic wealth and legacy housed within the Karnak Temple as lights dance magically across the façade. Spend the night at the stylish Nile Palace Luxor or Sonesta St. George Hotel.

Day 2:
Following breakfast, reunite with your guide to investigate the Valley of Kings, the ultimate resting place of influential Egyptian rulers from the 18th to 20th dynasties. Enter elaborate tombs brimming with essential provisions for the afterlife, beautifully preserved wall paintings, and the notable chambers belonging to great pharaohs Ramses II and youngster king Tutankhamen. Continuing to the strikingly lovely Hatshepsut Temple, perched flawlessly on tiered platforms connected by broad ramps, grasp the sophistication and harmony inherent in the architecture. Conclude the day marveling at the remaining 3 colossal statues of Amenhotep III at the Colossi of Memnon. Savor a delicious lunch in a popular local restaurant before heading back to Marsa Alam.

Day 3:
Embrace another opportunity to revel in Luxor's historic gems starting with the less frequented yet historically crucial Medinet Habu Temple. Initially established as a sanctuary for Amun, develop into a prominent monument under Ramses III. Then, make your way to Ramesseum, the crumbling funerary temple of Ramses II, once flourishing with detailed relief artwork illustrating pivotal battles and ceremonies. Lastly, explore Deir el-Medina, the primary cemetery for royal workers holding elaborately adorned tombs dating back to the 19th dynasty. Cherish fulfilling lunches each day before concluding your adventure and driving back to Marsa Alam.

Join us on this compelling 3-day odyssey, engaging in the profound wisdom and spectacular creativity of Ancient Egypt's finest eras while enjoying top-notch hospitality and service.
